The farmhouse at Poggio Asciutto offers accommodation in rooms and apartments furnished simply and in good taste.
Every bedroom has its own bathroom and windows from which there is a splendid view over the countryside. In the garden
there are plenty of communal areas but each apartment has its own exclusive area complete with table and chairs. Guests can
relax by the swimming pool which is surrounded by trees and olive groves and they can take any of the several footpaths
from the house and walk through the country and into the hills, or along the river as far as the nearby village of Greve
in Chianti.
Two or three times a week the lady of the house cooks dinner on request for her guests. She offers authentic Tuscan cuisine
with basic ingredients produced on the farm, or locally grown, for traditional recipes and local dishes.
Poggio Asciutto is the perfect place for anyone who wishes to spend a restful holiday in a family atmosphere while,
at the same time, taking the opportunity of short day-trips to the beautiful art cities and ancient hamlets of Tuscany.
