In the heart of 'Chianti Classico', between hills and forests, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, is situated the farm-house of Poggio Asciutto, with origin from the 1300'. An ancient villa, born as a 'tower-house', restored respecting the original architecture and materials - brick & stone - that retains its rural appearance: In its internal, with the comfort of modern living, it's still possible to breath the tradition of the Tuscan country-side.

The Agriturismo Poggio Asciutto offers hospitality in apartments and rooms furnished with taste  and semplicity; all rooms are equipped with private bathrooms, and enjoy a panoramic view. The pool-area allows you moments of relax, looking over wine-stocks and olive trees....From the house, there are several paths 'rolling' thru the landscape, for excursions by foot, or in mountain-bike. It's possible to do excursions on horse, directly from the farm, also for beginners.

For our guests, we have a small restaurant, where we offer a genuin kitchen, with products from the farm, and other local producers nearby, using local recepies and Tuscan traditions. On request, we organize cooking-classes. Poggio Asciutto is the perfect place to spend a restful holiday, in a family atmosphere, where we speak in Italian, English, German, Swedish, Spanish & Portoguese.

The farm, with over 9 hektars of land, run by the owners, produces wine 'Chiant Classico', olive-oil, honey, marmelade & chili-pepper, following the method of organic farming. Poggio Asciutto is 3 km. from the village of Greve in Chianti, and to reach the farm, it's necessary to proceed a short distance on 'dirt road'.

The Agriturismo is in excellent position, to reach in a short time, the most famous and culturally rich towns and villages, in the heart of the 'Chianti Classico' region, half-way between Florence and Siena.
